Job Description

OverviewMRI Technologist with a radiology specialty (MRI) opportunity in Portland, Oregon. Travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital setting. Start date: 10/05/2026. Assignment duration: 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $2,259 to $2,383 per week. Guaranteed hours: 24 per week. Shift: 3x12 nights, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,259–$2,383 per week- Guaranteed hours: 24 hours per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)- Location: Portland, Oregon, in a short-term acute care hospital setting- Travel assignment with dedicated assignment supportResponsibilities- Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images per physician orders and established protocols- Position patients, select coils, and optimize imaging parameters to produce high-quality MR images- Prepare, administer, and monitor contrast media as required; monitor patient safety throughout procedures- Verify patient information, document findings, measurements, and image quality; present results to physicians as directed- Collaborate with radiologists and other care team members to coordinate imaging workflows and patient care- Ensure compliance with safety standards, privacy regulations, and regulatory requirements; maintain equipment and perform routine quality checksRequirements- Education: Certificate or diploma from an MRI program or an Associate’s degree in Radiology; Bachelor's degree in radiologic technology or equivalent preferred- Licenses/Certifications: Active state Radiologic Technologist license; ARRT-R, ARRT-MR, or ARMRIT certification required- Experience: Minimum 2 years of recent MRI experience- Certifications: Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved provider- Ability to work in a hospital setting and adapt to a rotating night shift scheduleBenefits and Support- Weekly pay range: $2,259–$2,383 per week- Guaranteed hours: 24 hours per week- Assignment duration: 13 weeks- Shift schedule: 3x12 night shifts (7:00 PM–7:00 AM)- Travel assignment in a short-term acute care hospital settingFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional MRI travel assignments, apply for other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC here: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
