Job Description
OverviewRadiology Technologist – Multimodality, located in Clearlake, California. Start date 10/12/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,496–$2,670 per week, guaranteed hours 36 per week. Shift: 3x12 Days (6:00 AM–6:30 PM). Travel - Temporary Assignment in a Critical Access Hospital setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,496–$2,670 (per week)- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12 Days (6:00 AM–6:30 PM)- Start date: 10/12/2026- Setting: Critical Access HospitalResponsibilities- Operate radiography and computed tomography (CT) equipment to perform radiographic and CT examinations; ensure high-quality images and patient safety.- Perform at least two modalities regularly, with competency across radiography and CT; assist with additional imaging modalities as needed.- Safely transport and transfer patients between gurneys and wheelchairs; assist with mobile imaging examinations as required.- Prepare contrast agents for imaging procedures; monitor patients for adverse reactions and follow safety protocols.- Maintain workflow and equipment readiness; test defibrillator, check crash cart, and perform routine quality checks as applicable.- Document imaging procedures and findings in the electronic medical record (Epic); collaborate with radiologists and referring physicians to support patient care.Requirements- Active Radiologic Technologist (RT) license in the state of practice (California) required.- ARRT certification in Radiography required; ARRT-R certification required.- Certification in two additional advanced modalities (CT, Mammography, MRI, or Sonography) preferred; current licensure/credentials per state policy.- Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification from an approved vendor required.- Associate’s Degree in Radiologic Technology required; Bachelor’s Degree or higher preferred; Master’s Degree preferred.- Two years of recent radiology/medical imaging experience required; three years preferred.- Ability to work in a hospital/clinical setting and perform duties in a fast-paced environment.Benefits and Support- Guaranteed hours- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Housing assistance- Extension opportunities- Fast credentialing- Nationwide assignments- Dedicated support throughout the assignmentFind more opportunitiesFor other live openings, visit Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view additional radiology travel assignments.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
