OverviewRadiology Tech (X Ray Tech) sought for a travel assignment in Helena, MT. Start date: 10/25/2026. 13-week engagement with a weekly pay range of $2,242 to $2,320, 0.0 guaranteed hours, and a 12-hour night shift schedule (3x12 Nights). This is a hospital-based imaging role supporting both inpatient and outpatient services. The position requires active MT licensure, ARRT-R certification, BLS, and the ability to work within an Epic environment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,242 to $2,320 per week- Assignment duration: 13 weeks- Start date: 10/25/2026- Shift: 12-hour night shifts- Location: Helena, MT, United States- Guaranteed hours: 0.0Responsibilities- Perform radiographic procedures with proper technique, positioning, and radiation safety for a variety of exams.- Operate fluoroscopy and support OR cases, including orthopedic and urologic imaging.- Conduct exams such as Barium studies, lumbar punctures, myelograms, and assist with joint injections, following established protocols.- Manage contrast-enhanced imaging, document findings, and ensure accurate patient data entry in the electronic medical record (Epic).- Collaborate with radiology team across inpatient and outpatient settings; maintain equipment function and adhere to infection control standards.- Adapt imaging workflow to a busy environment; ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.Requirements- Active Montana license (MT) required; may apply for license with proof of application; processing anticipated within 24–48 hours.- BLS and ARRT-R certification required.- Minimum 2 years of Radiography experience.- Epic experience required; able to document and retrieve imaging data efficiently.- Must be capable of performing tests in the OR, with ample experience in fluoroscopy, Barium Studies, LP, myelograms, and joint injections.- Inpatient and outpatient imaging experience; 70-mile radius travel constraint applies; RTO or schedule requests must be submitted with the application.Benefits and Support- Travel assignment in a hospital imaging department- 13-week contract with a 12-hour night shift- Competitive weekly pay within the stated range- No guaranteed hours; scheduling as assigned- Start date clearly defined and location specified- Conference with eligibility for credentialing support and assignment-related resources- Clear submission requirements for demographics, license proof, and certificationsFind more opportunitiesFind more opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
