Weekly pay range: $3,161 to $3,292.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $3,161–$3,292 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 8:00 AM–4:30 PM, 8x5 days- Start date: 06/08/2026- Work setting: Hospital-based clinical environmentResponsibilities- Provide patient care within the approved scope of practice and privileges under physician supervision.- Perform patient assessments using age-specific principles and maintain accuracy in documentation.- Assist radiologists with radiologic procedures and patient management; support patient flow and clinical workload.- Prepare procedure rooms, manage equipment, and assist with inventory as needed.- Document procedures accurately, including notes, imaging findings, and patient outcomes.- Educate patients about procedures, obtain informed consent, and provide pre- and post-procedure instructions.- Ensure compliance with safety protocols, radiation protection standards, and infection control guidelines.- Assist with interventional radiology procedures, including fluoroscopic guidance, ultrasound guidance, and related injections where applicable.- Support the clinical team in procedures such as biopsies (ultrasound- and CT-guided where appropriate) and other image-guided interventions.Requirements- Education: Bachelor's degree required in Radiologic Technology or a related field; graduate of an approved program acceptable to the New York State Education Department.- Certifications: Current ARRT certification in Radiography; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
