OverviewUltrasound Technologist (Diagnostic Medical Sonography) – Massena, New York. Start date: 06/08/2026. Duration: Weeks. Shift: 4x10 Days. Travel assignment in a outpatient imaging setting within a community hospital. Weekly pay range: $2,340–$2,444 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. This role focuses on outpatient ultrasound studies across a pediatric to geriatric patient population.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,340–$2,444 per week- Shift: 4x10 Days- Start date: 06/08/2026- Work setting: Outpatient imaging in a community hospital environment- Travel assignment with no guaranteed hours- EPIC charting experience requiredResponsibilities- Perform ultrasound examinations across OB (first through third trimester), abdominal, vascular (DVT and carotid), and breast imaging; provide pediatric to geriatric imaging as assigned- Prepare patients, position and comfort them, apply gel, and ensure high-quality images following established protocols- Document findings in the electronic health record and communicate preliminary results to the radiologist or referring clinician- Operate ultrasound equipment, ensure equipment maintenance, and uphold safety and infection-control standards- Assist with ultrasound-guided procedures such as thoracentesis and paracentesis; support biopsies when applicable- Float to outpatient areas as needed and participate in the assigned call scheduleRequirements- New York state license in hand to submit- ARDMS certification and BLS required- Minimum 1 year ultrasound experience- Community hospital outpatient setting experience required- EPIC charting experience required- Preferred but not required: ARRT – Sonography; RDMS (AB, OB, BR, Peds); RVT- Call: Every 3rd day after 6 PM and every 3rd weekend; ability to float to outpatient areasBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment- Dedicated support team available to assist during the placement- Fast credentialing and onboarding processes- Potential extension opportunities for eligible assignmentsFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other ultrasound or radiology travel openings, you can view additional opportunities atHealthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
