Job Description

OverviewX-ray Technician - Radiology travel assignment in Atlanta, Georgia. Start date 04/20/2026 for a 6-week assignment with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Night shift consists of 10-hour nights, four shifts per week. Travel hospital setting, assignment includes cross-department support and potential extension opportunities.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: 1,567 to 1,628 USD per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 6 weeks- Shift: Night shift (10-hour nights, four nights per week)- Start date: 04/20/2026- Setting: Hospital-based travel assignment in Atlanta, GA- Floating between departments as needed; opportunity to work with students on competency checksResponsibilities- Operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment to perform X-ray examinations across OR, ED, inpatient units, and portable imaging- Evaluate images for technical quality; adjust positioning and technique to ensure diagnostic-quality results- Maintain patient safety, radiation safety practices, and infection control; ensure proper mask fit when required- Document procedures in the EMR (EPIC and Sectra) and coordinate with radiologists, physicians, and nursing staff- Support educational activities by working with students and conducting competency check-offs as assigned- Adapt to department assignments and float to cover staffing needs as requiredRequirements- Minimum 1 year Level 1 trauma experience or 2–3 years at a large trauma Level 2 facility- BLS required; ARRT certification required- Graduated from a JRCERT/ARRT-approved program- Ability to operate radiologic and fluoroscopic equipment; proficient with GE, Philips, and CareStream systems- Comfortable imaging across OR, ED, inpatient, and portable radiography; willing to learn pediatric and neonatal imaging- Able to work night shift and float as needed to support department operationsBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours and weekly pay as listed- Dedicated support throughout the assignment; 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing and onboarding processes- Extension opportunities based on performance and staffing needs- Assignment-specific onboarding and competency checks; mask fit as requiredFind more opportunitiesIf you’re interested in other openings, please visit Healthforce Healthcare LLC opportunities at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view additional travel imaging roles and apply.PAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
