OverviewRegistered Nurse – Case Manager, Everett, WA, United States. Start date May 26, 2026. 13-week travel assignment in an acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation. Weekly pay range is $1,748–$1,779 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2-week pay period. Shift: 4x8 days. The role focuses on discharge planning, care coordination, and case management across the patient continuum, with a hospital-wide scope that includes neonatal through geriatric populations and interdisciplinary collaboration.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,748–$1,779 per week- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2-week pay period- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 4x8 days- Start date: May 26, 2026- Setting: Acute care hospital with Level II Trauma Center designation- Orientation: 30 hours prior to start- Pre-start modules: non-billable approximately 16 hoursResponsibilities- Provide case management, discharge planning, and care coordination for a patient population spanning neonates to geriatrics within an acute care hospital.- Coordinate across disciplines, including Social Services, to ensure timely and safe patient transitions and appropriate post-discharge resources.- Manage a typical caseload of approximately 25–30 patients and maintain clear, updated care plans and progress notes.- Document care activity in EPIC, ensuring accurate records and communication with the care team.- Participate in interdisciplinary rounds and collaborate on complex patient dispositions; maintain flexibility to float across hospital areas as needed.- Advocate for patient and family needs, optimizing per-patient outcomes and reducing readmission risks.Requirements- Licensure: Active RN license in WA (or eligibility) required for RN applicants; MSW licensure may be considered per assignment; pending license accepted.- Certifications: BLS required.- Experience: Minimum 1 year acute care experience; first-time travelers accepted; behavioral health-only experience does not count toward acute care requirement.- Education: RN education from an approved program; MSW also considered if applicable.- Skills: EPIC charting experience required; strong discharge planning, care coordination, and case-management skills; ability to manage ~25 patients; comfortable with cross-unit floating and a fast-paced environment.- Scheduling: Weekend requirement every other weekend; pre-approved time off permitted (1 per contract); must be able to float across hospital areas and between campuses as needed.- Compliance: 2 references (covering 1 year of recent work within the last 3 years) required; background/Nursys disclosures must be provided at submittal; RTO requests must be included with submittal.Benefits and Support- Pre-start orientation: 30 hours- Pre-start modules: approximately 16 hours (non-billable)- Compliance: 2 references required; background/Nursys disclosures to be disclosed at submittal- RTO: All requested time off must be included at submittal- Travel assignment support: Dedicated recruiter and assignment coordination through Healthforce Healthcare LLCFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t a perfect fit, you’re welcome to apply for other openings available at Healthforce Healthcare LLC: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
