Job Description

OverviewCharge Nurse, Emergency Room (ER) travel assignment in Springfield, CO. Start 05/28/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $1,910–$2,013 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift: 3x12 Nights. Setting: Critical Access Hospital; Travel - Temporary Assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,910–$2,013 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12 Nights- Start date: 05/28/2026- Setting: Emergency department in a Critical Access HospitalResponsibilities- Initiate assessment and triage in the ER within minutes of presentation; document assessment and nursing diagnoses using standards and clinical judgment.- Develop and implement a patient-centered plan of care in collaboration with the healthcare team; adjust as patient condition evolves and coordinate with physicians, case management, and support staff.- Supervise and delegate to licensed practical nurses, certified nursing assistants, and ward clerks as assigned; ensure accurate handoffs and continuity of care.- Monitor patient outcomes, participate in discharge planning, and provide education to patients and families; communicate care plans and significant changes to the interdisciplinary team.- Maintain compliance with policies, infection control, PPE, safety standards, and regulatory requirements; contribute to performance improvement activities and ongoing education.Requirements- Current Colorado RN license in good standing- BLS; ACLS, TNCC, and PALS certifications required within six months of hire- Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred (ER or acute care highly valued)- Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-acuity ER environment; strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork- Proficiency in electronic documentation and ability to document clearly and accurately; English language proficiency requiredBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract- Credentialing and onboarding assistance to meet start date- Opportunity for assignment extensions beyond the initial contract- Access to nationwide travel opportunities through the same organizationFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings, you can view and apply for other opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC here: https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
