Job Description
OverviewRegistered Nurse – ER (Emergency Department) in Everett, MA. Travel - Temporary Assignment starting 12/01/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,508 to $2,765 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shift is 12-hour nights on a 12x3 schedule.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,508-$2,765 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 12-hour nights, 12x3- Start date: 12/01/2026- Setting: Emergency Department in a hospitalResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care in the emergency department, including triage, initial assessment, continuous monitoring, and stabilization for adults and pediatrics per clinical protocols.- Administer medications, initiate IV therapy, perform procedures as ordered, and monitor patient responses while ensuring safety and quality care.- Conduct ongoing nursing assessments, interpret data, escalate concerns, and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to maintain patient throughput and timely transfers.- Document nursing care, assessments, orders, and interventions in the electronic medical record (EMR); EPIC experience is preferred.- Coordinate with physicians, technicians, and case management; support family communication and discharge planning as appropriate.- Adhere to shift requirements and infection control practices; comply with required certifications and vaccine policies; work every other major holiday as scheduled.Requirements- Current Massachusetts RN license; NURSYS verification pulled within the last week showing ACTIVE current or conditional license; must include all licenses (past and present).- AHA BLS and ACLS certifications; Flu vaccine required during season.- 1+ year of acute care ER experience; documentation of travel experience; first-time travelers will not be considered.- EMR experience preferred (EPIC); skills checklist aligning with ER; two recent Manager/Supervisor references in the ER specialty.- Driver’s license with address that matches demographics; ability to work in an acute care ER setting.Benefits and Support- Guaranteed hours for the assignment- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Credentialing and compliance assistance to support onboardingFind more opportunitiesIf this ER travel opening isn’t a fit, you can find additional ER travel nursing opportunities through Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
