OverviewRegistered Nurse- Home Health (Travel) — Tucson, Arizona, United States. Start date May 18, 2026. This 14-week travel assignment offers 8-hour shifts with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Compensation ranges from $2,112 to $2,208 per week. Travel- Temporary Assignment. The RN will administer skilled nursing care for clients in their place of residence, coordinate care with the interdisciplinary team, patient/family, and referring agency, and assume responsibility for care coordination.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,112-$2,208 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 hours- Contract duration: 14 weeks- Shift: 8 hours- Start date: May 18, 2026- Location: Tucson, AZ- Travel assignment focused on home health care deliveryResponsibilities- Assess home health and/or hospice patients in stable and emergent situations to identify physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs; document findings and share in evaluations and team reports.- Implement, develop, document, and evaluate the Plan of Care (POC) to ensure quality and continuity of care.- Obtain data on physical, psychological, social, spiritual, and cultural factors and incorporate them into the POC.- Maintain up-to-date patient records, ensuring visits, contacts, problems, plans, actions, and goals are accurately documented and updated.- Provide care utilizing infection control measures to protect staff and patients.- Educate patients and families regarding care, medications, home safety, diet, and other relevant topics; use appropriate teaching methods and promote self-care.- Supervise and provide clinical directions to HHA/STNA/LVN staff to ensure quality and continuity of service.- Assess and reassess pain; apply pain management techniques; educate on pain control strategies.- Arrange referrals to appropriate agencies when needs exist.- Monitor cases to ensure compliance with third-party payer requirements.- Perform on-call responsibilities and provide on-call services as assigned.- Facilitate effective communication and serve as a liaison to patients/family, team members, administration, physicians, and other healthcare professionals.- Attend interdisciplinary team meetings and other necessary meetings.- Perform other related duties as assigned or requested.Requirements- Active state RN license (Required)- Current CPR certification (Required); CHPN certification (Preferred)- Valid driver’s license with reliable transportation and insurance (Required)- Experience: 1-2 years RN clinical care experience (Required); 2+ years home health experience (Required)- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma (Required); Bachelor of Science in Nursing (Preferred)- Knowledge: OASIS experience and Homecare Homebase software experience (Required)- Practical skills: Venipuncture and IV care knowledge; wound care and catheter management; ability to operate in-home care settings and coordinate with the care teamBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours- Competitive weekly pay- Extension opportunities- Fast credentialing- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Nationwide assignments- Referral bonus up to $1,000- Dedicated support throughout the assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t a perfect fit, explore other RN travel openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULEPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
