OverviewRegistered Nurse – ICU/Neuro ICU/IMCU (Travel - Temporary Assignment)Location: Atlanta, Georgia, United StatesStart date: 05/18/2026Duration: 8 weeksWeekly pay: 1,665 to 1,695 per weekGuaranteed hours: 36 hoursShift: 2x3 NightsSetting: inpatient critical care with ICU and intermediate care responsibilities; occasional unit-to-unit float may occurThis travel assignment requires strong neuro-focused experience, with care provided across Neuro ICU and IMCU environments in a high-acuity setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: 1,665–1,695 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 hours- Contract duration: 8 weeks- Shift: Night shifts, 2x3 schedule- Start date: 05/18/2026- Unit mix: Neuro ICU and IMCU with potential floating between ICU and stepdownResponsibilities- Deliver direct patient care for neuro-critical care and intermediate-care patients, including neurovascular and post-neurosurgical conditions- Perform comprehensive neuro assessments, monitor neurological status, manage intracranial pressure precautions, and administer medications per protocols- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized care plans; respond promptly to evolving patient conditions- Float between ICU and IMCU as needed, maintaining appropriate nurse-to-patient ratios (ICU 1–2; stepdown 3–4) and ensuring smooth transitions- Operate and monitor essential equipment (e.g., telemetry, hemodynamic monitors, ventilator support as applicable) and assist with procedures as assigned- Maintain accurate, timely documentation and uphold infection control, safety, and quality standardsRequirements- Active Registered Nurse license in Georgia with Nursys license verification- Minimum 2 years of Neuro ICU/IMCU or equivalent specialty experience- Current certification card on file (e.g., basic life support; additional credentials as applicable)- Work history/resume with no gaps greater than 60 days; Skills Checklist; References required- Demonstrated ability to work in a high-acuity neuro care setting and to float between ICU and IMCUBenefits and Support- Dedicated assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC- 24/7 recruiter and travel-support access- Guaranteed hours on assignment- Ongoing professional support and credentialing guidance- Opportunity to extend beyond initial contract duration (where available)Find more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional openings, please apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
