Job Description

OverviewRegistered Nurse – Labor and Delivery (L&D) in Chillicothe, Ohio. Travel assignment starting 09/28/2026 for 13 weeks in a hospital setting. Weekly pay range $2,288 – $2,501 per week with 36 guaranteed hours. Shift: Days, 7am–7pm, weekdays with every other weekend and holidays. This is a travel temporary assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,288 – $2,501 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Days, 7am–7pm; weekdays with every other weekend/holidays- Start date: 09/28/2026- Setting: Travel assignment in a hospital- Applicant residency: Must reside outside a 60 mile radiusResponsibilities- Provide labor and delivery nursing care for patients at 32 weeks and above- Triage obstetric patients, monitor labor progression, and respond to changes in status- Circulate cesarean sections and assist the surgical team during cesarean deliveries- Manage labor and delivery collaboratively with physicians and midwives; support vaginal and cesarean births- Support patient recovery, discharge planning, and postpartum care; monitor maternal status and fetal wellbeing- Document care in the medical record and coordinate with the interdisciplinary team to ensure safety and qualityRequirements- Current RN license in Ohio- Certifications: NRP, BLS, ACLS- Experience: 5+ years in labor and delivery preferred; prior travel experience preferred- Education: RN required; EPIC experience preferred- Must reside outside a 60 mile radius of the assignment- Ability to work in a labor and delivery unit with triage, monitoring, and emergent response dutiesBenefits and Support- Assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC throughout the contract- 13-week travel assignment with 36 guaranteed hours per week- Clear scheduling and payroll details provided up front- On-call or recruiter support available during the assignmentFind more opportunitiesTo explore additional openings for registered nurses or related specialties, visit Healthforce Healthcare LLC at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
