Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 3x12-hour Nights. Setting: hospital in a small Critical Access unit with 22 beds. This travel role covers full OB scope including newborn care, with Epic charting and interdisciplinary support.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,310–$2,441 per week- Guaranteed hours: not guaranteed- Contract duration: Weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour Nights- Start date: 11/16/2026- Setting: Small Critical Access hospital OB unit (22 beds, 3 rooms)- Orientation: 24 hours clinical orientation- Scheduling: self-scheduling; weekends required; must cover 3 of 5 major holidays; potential for cross-facility floatResponsibilities- Manage Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) care for obstetric patients- Triage obstetrical patients and provide newborn care per unit scope- Circulate for C-sections and perform sterile vaginal exams as needed- Monitor fetal status with wireless fetal monitoring; respond to obstetric emergencies- Apply knowledge of PPH management (JADA device familiarity) and postpartum assessments- Document in Epic; coordinate with PT, Respiratory, Phlebotomy, Radiology, Social Services, and Pharmacy- Float to OB coverage across unit needs and, if required, to nearby sister facilitiesRequirements- Active RN license; compact license must be in hand at submission- Certifications: BLS and NRP required; additional listed certifications may include CLC and STABLE- Travel experience required; posting notes 3 years; client notes require at least 1 year OB/L&D experience- Demonstrated obstetric nursing experience in LDRP care; ability to triage and manage acute obstetric needs- Education: as applicable to RN licensure; ability to work in a small Critical Access OB setting- Ability to work in a travel assignment with flexibility for float within scope; local radius 50 miles considered for submission- Background: facility does not accept Nursys or background hits- Return staff policy: may return after 3 months- Pre-start modules: expected; average 16 hours non-billable (approval required for >20 hours)Benefits and Support- Dedicated account management and assignment coordination- 24/7 recruiter and travel support to assist during the assignment- Pre-start onboarding modules and standard clinical orientation- Orientation and ongoing clinical support to ensure competency in LDRP scope- No mandatory direct facility contact; coordination through the assigned recruiterFind more opportunitiesInterested in other openings?
