Job Description

OverviewRegistered Nurse - Labor and Delivery in Rochester, New York. This travel, temporary assignment begins on 06/08/2026 and runs for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,092 to $2,135 per week, with no guaranteed hours. Shifts are 12 hours, and the role is in a hospital setting with rotating duties across OB/GYN units as volume and acuity demand.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,092–$2,135 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 12-hour shifts- Start date: 06/08/2026- Work setting: OB/Labor and Delivery in a hospital- Floating to OB/GYN units to meet variable needsResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care to antepartum, intrapartum, and postpartum patients across high, moderate, and low risk categories in labor and delivery.- Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to plan, implement, and evaluate care for laboring patients and their families.- Monitor maternal and fetal status, perform focused assessments, administer medications, and support progression of labor according to plan of care.- Demonstrate strong communication, prioritization, and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced obstetric environment.- Float among OB/GYN units as needed, maintaining competency and safety across services such as obstetric triage and post-delivery care.- Document care accurately in the electronic medical record and uphold patient- and family-centered care standards.Requirements- Active RN license in New York (NY ONLY)- Minimum two (2) years of obstetrics labor and delivery experience- BLS certification (American Heart Association)- Neonatal Resuscitation Required- Ability to work 12-hour shifts and float across OB/GYN units as needed- Education: Registered Nurse with current NY licensureBenefits and Support- Assignment support from a dedicated recruiter- Credentialing assistance and documentation review- Ongoing travel support and coordination for the assignment- Access to resources for scheduling and time-off managementFind more opportunitiesHealthforce Healthcare LLC invites you to explore other openings available at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
