OverviewRegistered Nurse, Med Surg | Helena, Montana, United States | Start 10/25/2026 | 13-week travel assignment | $2,105–$2,209 per week | 36 guaranteed hours per week | 12-hour night shifts, 3 nights per week | Hospital settingKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,105–$2,209 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 nights per week- Start date: 10/25/2026- Setting: hospital environment; Epic EMR used; float between medical/surgical-oncology unitsResponsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to adult medical-surgical patients in a hospital setting, assessing needs, monitoring status, and implementing care plans.- Administer medications, manage IV therapies, monitor patient responses, and perform necessary clinical duties within scope of practice.- Document patient care accurately in the Epic EMR; communicate effectively with the interdisciplinary team during rounds, handoffs, and care conferences.- Float between medical floor and surgical/oncology units as required, adapting to unit-specific protocols and patient populations.- Ensure patient safety and comfort, adhere to infection control and safety standards, and uphold BLS guidelines during all shifts.- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and support staff; provide patient and family education regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.Requirements- Active RN license with eligibility for Montana licensure or MT practice (as applicable)- 2+ years of Med Surg nursing experience- Prior travel nursing experience required- BLS certification required- Ability to float between medical floor and surgical/oncology units- Proficiency with the Epic electronic medical record systemBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours- Weekly pay per week- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing onboarding- Housing assistance options available- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Extension opportunities may be discussed during placementFind more opportunitiesFind additional travel nursing openings and other opportunities with Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
