OverviewRegistered Nurse – Med SurgWindsor, Vermont, United StatesStart date: 08/17/2026Duration: 13 weeksWeekly pay: $2,057 – $2,192 per weekGuaranteed hours: 36 per weekShift: Nights, 3x12-hour shiftsSetting: Hospital travel - temporary assignmentKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,057 – $2,192 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Nights, 3x12-hour shifts- Start date: 08/17/2026- Med Surg Rehab travel assignment with potential unit float within scopeResponsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to adult patients on a medical-surgical rehab unit, including assessment, monitoring, and administration of medications- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, case management, and families to develop and implement the plan of care- Document care and patient progress in the Cerner EMR; ensure accurate and timely communication of changes in condition- Support patient and family education and participate in discharge planning and patient teaching- Act as a resource for junior staff and float to other units as needed within scope of practice; may serve as backup Charge Nurse when assigned- Maintain safe, high-quality care and adherence to professional standards and hospital policiesRequirements- Active Vermont RN license (or eligibility for VT licensure)- 2+ years of recent Med Surg Rehab experience- Charge Nurse experience required- Willingness to float to other units within scope of practice- Previous travel experience (at least 3 months)- BSN strongly preferred- Cerner EMR experience required- BLS and ACLS certifications active- Must have own vehicle; local candidates within 50 miles are not eligible- RTO requests must be included in profile; no more than 5 days of time off will be approved; all scheduling requests must be submitted at time of applicationBenefits and Support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing and onboarding- 8 hours non-billable orientation- Scheduling guidelines and contingency planning provided to minimize disruptionsFind more opportunitiesIf you’re interested in other openings, you can view more opportunities and apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
