This is a travel - temporary assignment and requires prior travel experience.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,152–$2,240 per week- Guaranteed hours: 0.0 per week- Duration: travel assignment of several weeks- Shift: 3x12-hour nights- Start date: 09/21/2026- Setting: hospital-based Med Surg unitResponsibilities- Provide direct, patient-centered nursing care to adult and geriatric Med Surg patients, including assessment, planning, intervention, and evaluation of care plans.- Monitor vital signs, administer medications and IV therapies, perform basic wound care, and manage lines and drains as needed; respond to clinical changes and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team.- Support respiratory needs with appropriate therapies (HFNC, BiPAP/CPAP, oxygen) and assist with post-op and pre/post-surgical care as required.- Perform procedures within scope (PICC/PICC management, central line blood draws, chest tube care, wound care) and participate in rapid response and code events when indicated.- Maintain accurate Epic documentation of assessments, treatments, and patient progress; adhere to isolation precautions and infection control protocols.- Collaborate with IV teams, respiratory therapy, PT, phlebotomy, radiology, social work, pharmacy, and other services to ensure comprehensive patient care; participate in transporting and interpretation services as needed.Requirements- Active RN license in hand at time of submittal; license must be valid in the practice state.- BLS certification required.- Minimum 2 years of RN experience preferred; travel experience required; Trauma Level II experience preferred.- Epic charting experience required.- Ability to work 3x12-hour night shifts; float option may be available if competency is demonstrated.- Education not specified; clinical competence and ability to function in an adult/geriatric Med Surg environment are required.Benefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated on-assignment support throughout the assignment- Fast credentialing and onboarding processes- Onsite orientation (24 hours) and required onboarding steps completed promptly- Epic charting and clinical resources support- Access to ongoing travel assignment opportunities and coordinationFind more opportunitiesInterested in other RN travel openings?
