OverviewRegistered Nurse — Med Surg Tele (Travel)Location: Kealakekua, Hawaii, United StatesStart date: 08/17/2026 | Contract length: 13 weeks | Shift: 3x12 NightsWeekly pay: $2,267–$2,387 (per week) | Guaranteed hours: noneWork setting: inpatient care environmentThis travel assignment requires float coverage between two medical-surgical/tele units and MS overflow coverage in ICU and ED, with EPIC EMR experience preferred.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,267–$2,387 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 3x12 Nights- Start date: 08/17/2026- Hours: 72 hours every two weeks (approximately 36 hours per week)- Specialty and scope: Med Surg Tele with float to ICU/ED MS overflow; EPIC experience preferredResponsibilities- Provide direct patient care to adult medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including assessments, medications, IV therapy, and routine procedures.- Float between two MS/Tele units and support MS overflow needs in ICU and ED as patient demand dictates.- Monitor patient status, identify changes, implement care plans, and escalate concerns promptly to the multidisciplinary team.- Collaborate with physicians, charge nurses, and ancillary staff; participate in care planning, handoffs, and discharge planning as appropriate.- Document thoroughly in EPIC EMR, including assessments, interventions, and patient education; maintain HIPAA compliance and accurate charting.- Prioritize patient safety, perform timely responses to emergencies, and adhere to unit protocols and infection control practices.Requirements- EPIC EMR experience- Inpatient medical-surgical/telemetry nursing experience- Ability to float between MS/Tele units and MS overflow coverage in ICU/ED- Availability for a 3x12 night schedule with a biweekly total of 72 hours- Strong communication, teamwork, and critical-thinking skills in a fast-paced environmentBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Fast credentialing assistance- Nationwide travel assignmentsFind more opportunitiesIf this role isn’t the right fit, explore other RN Med Surg Tele travel openings and related opportunities at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULEPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
