OverviewRegistered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) | Colorado, United StatesStart date: 08/17/2026Duration: 13 weeksWeekly pay: $1,825–$1,931 per weekGuaranteed hours: 32Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday; typically 40 hours per week, with a very small chance of requiring callSetting: Critical Access Hospital; travel temporary assignmentKey Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,825–$1,931 per week- Guaranteed hours: 32- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Day shift, Monday–Friday; typically 40 hours- Start date: 08/17/2026- Setting: OR travel assignment in a critical access hospital- Housing assistance available (private room in shared housing; restrictions apply)Responsibilities- Provide intraoperative nursing care as the OR Circulator for orthopedic, endoscopy, and general surgery cases.- Maintain sterile technique, assist with instrument handling, and manage counts (sponge/needle) throughout procedures.- Monitor patient status, help with positioning, and collaborate with the surgical team, anesthesia, and scrub staff to ensure patient safety.- Prepare and stage equipment, maintain an orderly OR environment, and document perioperative care and patient responses.- Participate in post-anesthesia handoff, discharge planning support, and ensure safe transfer of the patient to the recovery area.Requirements- Active Registered Nurse license in Colorado- Strong orthopedic operating room experience- BLS certification required- Ability to work Monday–Friday days; typical 40-hour schedule; occasional call may be required- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)- Ability to function effectively in a critical access hospital OR settingBenefits and Support- Competitive weekly pay- Guaranteed hours- Housing assistance (private room in shared housing; terms apply)- Extension opportunities- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialingFind more opportunitiesFor other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view current travel nurse opportunities and apply.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
