Job Description
OverviewRegistered Nurse – Operating Room (OR) in Helena, Montana. This travel assignment is a hospital-based position starting 11/29/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay ranges from $2,430 to $2,591 per week, with guaranteed 40 hours per week. Shift: 10-hour days, four days per week. This OR role requires experience across a broad range of specialties in a travel setting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,430–$2,591 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 10-hour days, four days per week- Start date: 11/29/2026- Work setting: travel assignment in a hospital in Helena, MTResponsibilities- Deliver perioperative nursing care in the OR for diverse cases, including orthopedics, total joints, fractures, gynecology, robotic, urology, general, ENT, and spine procedures; assess patients and monitor throughout the intraoperative period.- Assist with patient positioning, instrumentation setup, sterile technique, counts, specimen handling, and efficient room turnover to promote safety and efficiency.- Monitor intraoperative status, respond to events, and communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and the rest of the team.- Document care and procedures accurately in the electronic medical record (Epic); coordinate with the surgical team to ensure continuity of care.- Adhere to infection control, safety protocols, and regulatory requirements; participate in required call coverage as defined for the assignment.Requirements- Active Montana RN license in good standing- 2+ years of OR nursing experience- BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred- Epic EMR experience- Prior travel nursing experience required- Ability to work 10-hour shifts, four days per week, in a fast-paced OR setting; willingness to participate in NYE/NYD call as needed- Completion of all assignment-specific requirements at submission, including demographic information as requestedBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the travel assignment- Fast credentialing processes- Nationwide travel assignments- Extension opportunities when availableFind more opportunitiesFor additional travel nursing openings and other roles, apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
