OverviewRegistered Nurse - ORLawrenceville, Georgia, United StatesStart date: 05/18/2026Duration: 13 weeksWeekly pay: $1,944-$2,063 per weekGuaranteed hours: 36 per weekShift: 2x3 Days (12-hour days)This is a travel - temporary assignment in a hospital operating room, supporting outpatient surgical services.Key Highlights- Travel nurse assignment in the OR setting for 13 weeks- Start date: 05/18/2026; guaranteed 36 hours per week- Weekly pay range: $1,944-$2,063 per week- Shift schedule: 12-hour days on a 2x3 rotation- Note: No local candidates within 50 miles will be consideredResponsibilities- Prepare the OR and assist the surgical team to maintain a sterile environment- Monitor patient status intraoperatively and respond to changes in condition- Assist with tissue handling, instrument passing, and specimen labeling- Coordinate with anesthesia, surgeons, and circulating staff to ensure safe, efficient procedures- Maintain accurate intraoperative documentation and equipment counts- Adhere to perioperative safety protocols and infection control standardsRequirements- Minimum of 2 years of recent OR experience- Active AHA BLS and AHA ACLS certifications- NIHSS certification- Active RN license in Georgia (or eligibility as required for practice)- Ability to work in a hospital operating room setting and participate in 12-hour day shifts- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with attention to patient safetyBenefits and Support- Dedicated travel nurse support and recruitment team- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Ongoing support throughout the assignment- Clear path for ongoing opportunities in travel nursing rolesFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other real openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view additional postings and apply.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
