As a traveling OR nurse, you’ll participate in a broad spectrum of procedures, from routine elective cases to more complex surgeries. Your responsibilities will include preparing the sterile field, scrubbing and circulating as needed, maintaining patient safety and aseptic technique, monitoring anesthesia care, coordinating with anesthesiologists and surgeons, and providing high-quality post-anesthesia handoffs. You will assess patient readiness, manage equipment and instrumentation, document accurately, and participate in debriefing to identify opportunities for improvement. The role emphasizes continuous learning through exposure to different surgical subspecialties, enabling you to broaden your competency in areas such as orthopedics, general surgery, and beyond. The program recognizes your expertise with competitive compensation, including a weekly pay range of $2,205 to $2,287, and a guaranteed minimum of 36 hours per week.
