Job Description
OverviewRegistered Nurse – Stepdown in Helena, Montana. This travel, temporary assignment begins 11/15/2026 for 13 weeks. Earn $2,004 to $2,127 per week with guaranteed 36 hours per week. Shifts are 12-hour nights, 12x3. Work in a clinical care environment with floating to stepdown/ICU and related units; Epic EMR is used for charting.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,004–$2,127 per week- Guaranteed hours: 36 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 12-hour nights, 12x3- Start date: 11/15/2026- Assignment setting: travel stepdown environment; Epic EMRResponsibilities- Deliver direct patient care in the stepdown environment, including ongoing assessment, monitoring of vitals, and timely response to changes in condition.- Administer medications, manage IVs, and assist with procedures per physician orders and care plans.- Monitor hemodynamics and respiratory status; provide appropriate interventions and escalate as needed.- Maintain accurate documentation in Epic EMR; ensure charting reflects current patient status and care provided.- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team during rounds and care planning; participate in discharge planning and family communication.- Float between medical/surgical units and stepdown/ICU as required; uphold patient safety, infection control, and quality standards.Requirements- Active RN license (state required)- Minimum 2 years of stepdown experience; prior travel experience preferred- BLS and ACLS certification- Epic EMR experience or ability to learn quickly- Ability to float to multiple units as needed; strong communication and critical-thinking skillsBenefits and Support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing process- Housing assistance available- Extension opportunities- Nationwide travel assignments- Referral bonus up to $1,000Find more opportunitiesInterested in other openings?
