Job Description

OverviewRegistered Nurse - Stepdown travel assignment in Keene, New Hampshire. Start date 08/17/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range $2,026 to $2,131. Shift is 36 hours per week, nights. Work setting is a Short-Term Acute Care Hospital with an inpatient stepdown unit, caring for adult-geriatric patients.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,026 – $2,131 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: Nights, 36 hours per week- Start date: 08/17/2026- Setting: Short-Term Acute Care Hospital, inpatient stepdown unit- Non-local traveler required; local candidates within 50 miles not considered; own vehicle required- Scheduling constraints: RTO accepted 5 days or less; block scheduling not accommodated- Guaranteed hours: none (0.0)Responsibilities- Provide direct nursing care to adult-geriatric patients on a stepdown unit, coordinating with the care team and family as needed- Monitor patient status, including hemodynamics and neurological checks, and titrate cardiac drips per protocol- Administer medications and IV therapies; reassess patient responses and adjust plans of care accordingly- Document care and outcomes in the Epic electronic medical record; communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team- Support patient and family education, including discharge planning and dementia care considerations- Maintain infection control, safety standards, and professional nursing practice in a fast-paced environmentRequirements- Active New Hampshire RN license or Compact license; must be uploaded with profile- NH Temporary Health Care Service Agency license/Registration certificate required upfront- BLS (AHA) certification; ACLS (AHA) certification required- 2+ years of Med-Surg experience; cardiac drip experience required; dementia care/management experience required- NIHSS strongly preferred; EPIC experience required- Ability to work on a stepdown unit and manage adult-geriatric populations- Must have own vehicle; local travelers within 50 miles will not be considered- Profile must include permanent address; scheduling requests must be included at submission; block scheduling not permitted- RTO requests up to 5 days are acceptable; Halloween (Oct 31) RTO not approvedBenefits and Support- Credentialing and compliance support to meet NH licensure and hospital requirements- Epic EMR onboarding and training assistance- On-assignment support from a dedicated travel team- Housing resources and relocation information available through provided materials- Ongoing assignment support and guidance throughout the 13-week termFind more opportunitiesIf you’re considering other openings, explore additional RN travel roles and more positions at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
