Job Description
OverviewRegistered Nurse - Telemetry (Tele) travel assignment in Olathe, Kansas. This 13-week position is in a Short Term Acute Care Hospital setting, staffed for nights on a 12-hour shift. Weekly pay ranges from $1,612 to $1,715 per week, with no guaranteed hours. Start date per unit plan is 11/23/2026. The assignment includes unit orientation, Epic training, and the ability to float to all acute care units as needed to support patient care.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,612 – $1,715 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 12-hour nights, 7:00 PM–7:30 AM- Location: Olathe, Kansas, United States- Setting: Short Term Acute Care Hospital Telemetry unit- Orientation and Epic training includedResponsibilities- Monitor adult telemetry patients, interpret rhythm strips, and respond to alarms to ensure patient safety.- Administer medications and manage IV therapies per orders, including cardiac medications such as Heparin, Cardizem, Lasix, and initiation of Tikosyn/Sotalol where applicable.- Assist with post-procedure care, including TR Band management and immediate bedside care per protocol.- Maintain accurate documentation in the electronic medical record (Epic) and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team.- Support unit operations by floating to other acute care units as needed and participating in scheduled orientation and training activities.Requirements- Active Kansas RN license; BLS certification- Minimum 1 year of recent Telemetry experience; 2–5 years preferred- Experience with cardiac drips and post-procedure care (e.g., Heparin, Lasix, Cardizem; Tikosyn/Sotalol initiation); TR Band experience is a plus- Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and float to all acute care units- Education: Diploma, ADN, or BSN from an accredited nursing program- New graduates may apply; strong preference for demonstrated Telemetry competencyBenefits and Support- Dedicated recruiter and travel support throughout the assignment- 13-week travel assignment with nights on a Telemetry unit- Weekly pay range listed above, with pay processing on a biweekly schedule- Orientation and Epic training provided to support clinical integration- Nicotine-free facility policy- No on-call requirement; routine schedule with night shiftsFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore additional travel nursing openings with Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view current opportunities and submit your application.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
