Job Description

OverviewRespiratory Therapist – Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) position in Burlington, VT, starting 08/06/2026 for a 4-week travel assignment. Weekly pay range: $1,897–$2,036 per week. Guaranteed hours: none. Shift: 3x12 Night shifts. Work setting: inpatient, acute care environment including Adult ICU and adult/pediatric general units; ED involvement preferred but not required.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,897–$2,036 per week- Guaranteed hours: none- Contract duration: 4 weeks- Shift: 3x12 Nights- Start date: 08/06/2026- Setting: inpatient, acute care environment (Adult ICU; adult and pediatric general units)Responsibilities- Deliver respiratory care to adult and pediatric patients per physician orders, including airway clearance and medication administration- Manage ventilator settings and participate in weaning for patients on mechanical ventilation in ICU and general units- Monitor oxygenation, ventilation status, and ABG results; adjust modalities per protocol and clinician direction- Perform routine assessments, document findings, and ensure timely charting in the electronic medical record- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure coordinated patient care; participate in care plans and safety checks- Be prepared for ED involvement if needed; weekends and nights may be required with schedule flexibilityRequirements- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; NBRC verification; license on file at time of submission- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP- Minimum 1 year of relevant experience; prior travel experience preferred- Must be RRT (CRT not accepted)- Epic experience within the past 2 years is required- Teaching hospital experience is required- Ability to work in an inpatient, acute care environment with adult ICU and general unitsBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Fast credentialing- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Nationwide assignments- Extension opportunities- Competitive weekly pay by assignmentFind more opportunitiesIf you’re exploring additional openings, you can view and apply for other positions at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMERPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
