OverviewRespiratory Therapist (Registered Respiratory Therapist) – Travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,923 to $3,055 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x12). Work setting: inpatient hospital environment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,923-$3,055 per week- Contract length: 16 weeks- Shift: 12-hour night shifts, 3 nights per week- Start date: 10/19/2026- Setting: inpatient hospital travel assignment- Credentialing and experience: Bi-weekly orientations; Epic experience within the last 2 years required; RRT license required; NRP required upon submission; BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP; 1 year minimum experience; teaching hospital experience requiredResponsibilities- Provide respiratory care for adult ICU, adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III patients as assigned- Manage ventilator support, non-invasive ventilation, airway clearance, and weaning per physician orders- Perform ABG collection, analysis, and interpretation; adjust therapies as indicated- Administer prescribed therapies (nebulized medications, airway clearance techniques) and monitor patient response- Document care and patient status in the electronic health record (Epic); participate in rounds and care planning- Respond to respiratory emergencies; collaborate with physicians and nursing teams; ensure equipment safety and proper maintenance- Schedule and staffing may require weekends as needed; flexibility in schedule is essentialRequirements- Active Respiratory Therapist license (RRT); CRT not accepted; NBRC verification required- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP required upon submission); NBRC verification- Experience: Minimum 1 year of RT experience; prior travel experience preferred; teaching hospital experience required; Epic experience within the past 2 years- Education: Not specified in the notes- Additional: Ability to work in an inpatient hospital setting; NICU/PICU experience and ability to document NICU levels in work historyBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated assignment support throughout the engagement- Bi-weekly orientation sessions- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Travel logistics support as needed- Potential for extension opportunities based on performance and assignment needsFind more opportunitiesFor other openings available, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULE:Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
