Job Description

OverviewRegistered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) travel assignment in Burlington, VT. Start on August 6, 2026 for a 4-week contract in an inpatient hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $1,891 to $2,025 per week, with no guaranteed hours. Shift is 3x12 nights. This assignment supports adult, pediatric, and neonatal care as part of a high-acuity care team.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,891–$2,025 per week- Contract duration: 4 weeks- Shift: 3x12 Night shifts- Start date: August 6, 2026- Setting: Inpatient hospital/acute care- Experience: Teaching hospital experience required; Epic EMR experience within the past 2 yearsResponsibilities- Provide respiratory care to inpatient populations across adult, pediatric, and neonatal units per physician orders- Manage and monitor ventilation strategies, airway support, and weaning as appropriate- Interpret arterial blood gases and adjust therapies to optimize patient outcomes- Administer medications and perform aerosolized therapies; conduct chest therapies and suctioning as needed- Maintain and troubleshoot respiratory equipment; ensure infection control and device calibration- Document all patient care in Epic EMR; participate in rounds and coordinate with the multidisciplinary team- Educate patients and families on therapies, procedures, and equipment usageRequirements- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NBRC Verification, NRP- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; teaching hospital experience required; prior travel experience preferred- Education: Completion of an accredited Respiratory Therapy program- Ability to work in a hospital inpatient setting and adhere to unit protocols- Must be able to start within the requested timeframe and maintain reliable transportation if requiredBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Fast credentialing process- Extension opportunitiesFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, please visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply to view additional travel assignments and ongoing opportunities.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
