OverviewRegistered Respiratory Therapist for a travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Specialty: Inpatient, with RRT credentialing. Start date: 10/19/2026 for 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,804–$3,008 per week. Guaranteed hours: 0.0. Shift: 12-hour night shifts (3x per week). Setting: hospital-based travel assignment.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,804–$3,008 per week- Contract duration: 16 weeks- Shift: 12-hour night shifts- Start date: 10/19/2026- Setting: Travel assignment in a hospital- Location: Burlington, VermontResponsibilities- Provide prescribed respiratory care to inpatients in adult ICU, adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III as an RRT.- Manage ventilator support, airway care, airway clearance, suctioning, and respiratory therapies per physician orders.- Monitor patient status, interpret data, adjust ventilator settings, and respond to changes in patient condition; document care in the EMR.- Perform related procedures (humidification, airway clearance therapy, CPAP/BiPAP as ordered) and ensure patient safety and infection control standards.- Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team, participate in rounds, and educate patients and families as appropriate.- Weekend coverage as needed; no on-call responsibilities; schedule flexibility is required.Requirements- Active Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential; CRT not accepted.- NBRC verification required.- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP (NRP required upon submission).- Minimum 1 year of hospital-based respiratory therapy experience in inpatient settings.- Inpatient experience in Adult ICU, Adult ED, PICU, and NICU Level III; teaching hospital experience required.- Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years.- Prior travel experience preferred.- Must be able to work in a high-acuity inpatient setting and adapt to a fast-paced schedule.Benefits and Support- Bi-weekly orientations on Mondays (next available 11/02) to support onboarding.- Dedicated travel and assignment support from Healthforce Healthcare LLC.- Ongoing recruiter support throughout the assignment.- Potential extension opportunities beyond the initial 16 weeks.Find more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other real openings available at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/apply, please apply to this posting and review additional travel opportunities that align with your expertise and location preferences.Please note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
