Job Description
JOB SUMMARY:
Join the Travel Retail Americas team of the L’Occitane Group and gain hands-on experience at the crossroads of Trade Marketing, Commercial strategy, and Learning & Development.
You will contribute to driving retail excellence across all Travel Retail channels in the Americas, working on two iconic brands: L’Occitane en Provence and Sol de Janeiro.
This internship offers real exposure to international retail environments, cross-functional collaboration, and strategic brand deployment.
Brand perimeter: L’Occitane Group including L’Occitane en Provence and Sol de Janeiro brands
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Trade Marketing Strategy & Deployment
- Support the development of key marketing tools (planograms, product listings for the Americas, etc.) in line with Travel Retail brand strategy.
- Contribute to the creation and execution of 360° commercial plans for secondary clients, including drafting design briefs and animation plans.
- Assist in deploying digital strategies by helping build digital toolboxes and creating e-commerce content for retail partners.
- Support the production and roll-out of brand visuals in alignment with Travel Retail guidelines.
Sales & Product Performance Analysis
- Assist the Marketing and Commercial teams with monthly reporting, novelty order proposals, and order templates.
- Support the launch of novelties across retailers by recommending promotional mechanics and local activation ideas.
- Conduct sell-in and sell-out analysis to evaluate product and line performance and provide actionable insights.
Cross-Functional & Operational Support
- Coordinate the forecasting and logistics of training gifts in collaboration with the Commercial team.
- Adapt and coordinate training materials for the Americas region (including translations when required).
- Support the organization and logistics of key events such as Brand Ambassador seminars and retailer meetings.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Master degree
Experience:
Minimum of 6 months of professional experience required
Skills:
- Fluent in English (Spanish or Portuguese a plus)
- Autonomous, Agile, Entrepreneur
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to multi-task, establish priorities and manage deadlines
- Team Plater – able to collaborate and communicate easily and efficiently with peers
- Experience in retail or marketing is a plus
