Alaska Regional HospitalTravel RNAlaska perm RN license is required for submission Operating Room (701)Shift: 7:00AM-7:00PMStart Date: asapAssignment Length: 13 WeeksExperience Needed: Ortho, Total Joints, Neuro, Robotics.( possibly 15 call shifts per month. Call will vary from one month to the next. Typically it is 5-6 shifts every 4 weeks)On call is requiredUnit Information: (Operating Room)Location: Alaska Regional HospitalAddress: 2801 Debarr Road, Anchorage AK 99508Floor: 2nd floorBuilding: Main hospital buildingGeneral InformationTell us about the unit(s):Number of Beds 11 ORsShift for this position Three twelve-hour shifts (weekends if possible)Call Expectation Based on the number of employees taking call, averaging 5-6 weekday shifts and 1 weekend shift (Average for 8 week sign up period)Number of Staff Varies depending on dayType of staff:o Day Shift Average of 8 RNs, 8 Scrub techs and 5 Surgical support techso Night Shift One charge RN and one scrub tech in house with call team backupPatient Ratios 1:1Type of equipment Variety of OR beds and equipmentEMR - EpicTypical hiring profileSkill Set Most recruited for: OR RNMust have: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role.Patient advocate as circulator while being a resource for the sterile fieldPreferred or nice to have: candidates with these skills will be considered first.Experience as circulatorExperience as ScrubCNORList typical procedures performed on unit(s):Total Joints, Multi-level spine fusions, Variety of Xi Robotic cases (GYN, Colorectal, General)Very little ENT, Dental, Eyes or plasticsBest personality Fit:Positive outlook. Willing to work with team members.REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS:Alaska RN licenseBLSACLSFloating Area(s):N/ADress Code:Scrubs provided by facilityUnit Guidelines/Policies: Please feel free to attach unit policies and guidelines.Weekends and On call(if any)Weekend position needed.
