Job Description

Job Title: Registered Nurse (RN) - Stepdown UnitLocation: Las Cruces, NMShift: Night Shift - 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM

We are currently seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) for our Stepdown Unit in Las Cruces, NM. The ideal candidate will have experience working in stepdown or similar units and be comfortable managing complex patients. This position requires the ability to provide high-quality nursing care while floating to ICU and Tele units as needed.

Qualifications:

Required: Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in New Mexico or eligibility for licensure.
Required: 1 year of Stepdown or comparable nursing experience.
Required: Proficiency in cardiac rhythm interpretation.
Required: Ability to manage amiodarone, heparin, precedex gtts.
Required: Familiarity with oxygen modalities such as Vapotherm and BiPAP.
Required: Ability to float to ICU and Tele units as needed.
Required: NIH Stroke Scale (NIH), Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), and Basic Life Support (BLS) certifications.
Preferred Experience: Experience with Cardene, Cardizem, and insulin gtt management.
