Travel RN - Pediatric Emergency Room

Tidepoint Healthcare Staffing is hiring a Travel RN - Pediatric Emergency Room

Shift: Nights, 7p-7a, 12x3, 36 hrs per week, EOW required, holidays required as needed Length: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• AR/compact license
• 2+ years of experience in a pediatric setting and a large level 1 trauma hospital
• BLS
• TNCC preferred
• ENPC preferred

Other Details:

• Must test negative for nicotine
• First-time travelers accepted (prior travel not required)
• EMR: Epic
• Only pediatric level 1 trauma center in the state; 39-bed ED, high volume (~200 patients/day)
• Patient population: birth to under 21 years old, occasional adult patients; minor illness through major trauma
• Nurse/patient ratios: 1:1-3/4 (Fast Track 1:5/6)
• Travelers do not triage and will not perform SANE cases
• Equipment: Sigma and Med Fusion 3500 IV pumps
• Security in ED: metal detectors and an off-duty Little Rock police officer present 1500-2300
