OverviewMedical Social Worker (MSW) – Travel in Everett, WA. Start date 06/08/2026 for 13 weeks. Weekly pay range: $1,681–$1,831 per week. Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks. Shift: 5x8 Days. Setting: inpatient care at a Level II trauma center serving adults and geriatrics across two campuses.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $1,681–$1,831 per week- Guaranteed hours: 72 hours per 2 weeks- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 5x8 Days- Start date: 06/08/2026- Setting: Inpatient care at a Level II trauma center across two campusesResponsibilities- Conduct psychosocial assessments for adult and geriatric patients; determine discharge planning and care coordination needs; develop patient-centered care plans with the care team- Facilitate discharge planning and care transitions to home, rehab, or long-term care; coordinate referrals to community resources- Document assessments, plans, and progress in EPIC; maintain privacy and regulatory compliance- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (PT, Pharmacy, Transportation, Interpretation, Social Services) and participate in rounds- Manage complex psychosocial issues and provide counseling and family support; respond to social work consults- May float across units and a sister campus as needed; weekend coverage every other weekend; holiday coverage (3 of 5 holidays)Requirements- Active Washington social work license (LICSW, LSWAIC, LASW, LSWAA) or in-hand licensure accepted at submittal- BLS certification- Minimum 1 year of experience in acute care, discharge planning / care coordination; strong preference for case management across Med-Surg, LLOS, ED- Proficiency with EPIC or similar electronic medical record- Ability to work in an inpatient Level II trauma center environment; willingness to float to nearby campus- Weekend rotation required; holiday coverage (3 of 5 holidays)Benefits and Support- Competitive weekly pay- 72 hours per 2 weeks guaranteed hours- Orientation: 40 hours- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Housing assistance- Extension opportunities- Fast credentialing- Nationwide assignmentsFind more opportunitiesTo view additional openings from Healthforce Healthcare LLC, visit https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPAY DISCLAIMER RULEPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
