Job Description
OverviewSonographer / Ultrasound Tech – Vascular Ultrasound in Saranac Lake, NY. Start date 11/02/2026 for a 13-week travel assignment in a hospital setting. Weekly pay ranges from $2,636 per week to $2,753 per week with guaranteed hours of 40 per week. Shift is 8-hour day shifts, five days per week (approximately 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.). This travel temporary assignment is recruited by Healthforce Healthcare LLC.Key Highlights- Weekly pay range: $2,636 per week – $2,753 per week- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- Contract duration: 13 weeks- Shift: 7:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m., five days per week- Start date: 11/02/2026- Setting: Hospital-based vascular imaging department- No on-call requirementResponsibilities- Perform vascular ultrasound examinations, including duplex imaging, as prescribed by the physician using established standards and procedures.- Review studies for quality and accuracy; document and communicate imaging findings clearly, including measurements and observations.- Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot ultrasound equipment; adhere to safety, infection control, and patient privacy protocols.- Position patients, ensure comfort and safety during exams, and manage patient flow to maintain efficiency and accuracy.- Coordinate with vascular specialists and radiologists to ensure timely and accurate diagnostic results.Requirements- ARDMS RVT certification (required)- BLS certification (required)- Demonstrated ability to perform vascular ultrasound imaging and document findings- Ability to work in a hospital vascular lab environment- Availability for day shift, five days per week; no on-call requirementBenefits and Support- Guaranteed hours: 40 per week- 13-week travel assignment- Dedicated assignment support throughout the contract- Credentialing and onboarding assistance- Travel and recruiter support to facilitate placementFind more opportunitiesFind more opportunities at Healthforce Healthcare LLC by visiting https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
