OverviewUltrasound Technologist – Breast Imaging, Travel assignment in Burlington, Vermont. Start date: 10/19/2026. Duration: 16 weeks. Weekly pay: $2,985–$3,146 per week. Guaranteed hours: None. Shift: 8-hour daytime shifts, five days per week. Setting: hospital-based, travel assignment at a large teaching hospital with two campus sites.Key Highlights- Weekly pay: $2,985–$3,146 per week- Guaranteed hours: None- Contract duration: 16 weeks- Start date: 10/19/2026- Shift: 8-hour day, five days per week- Setting: Large teaching hospital with two campus sitesResponsibilities- Perform ultrasound imaging across breast, abdomen, and gynecology, with emphasis on breast care; optimize images and follow imaging protocols- Operate ultrasound equipment, adjust technical parameters, document findings, and communicate results through the EMR system- Assist with breast biopsy procedures, including pre-procedure imaging, specimen handling, and adherence to sterile technique under radiologist direction- Maintain Epic EMR workflows and ensure accurate, timely documentation and reporting- Prioritize patient safety and comfort, maintain infection control and radiation safety standards- Weekend coverage may be required on an as-needed basis; there is no block scheduling- Attend bi-weekly orientation sessions on MondaysRequirements- Active ARDMS certification in abdomen, gynecology, and breast- BLS certification- Ultrasound Tech Certification Verification (Equivalency)- Minimum of 2 years of ultrasound experience- Experience in a breast care center; experience performing breast biopsies- Large teaching hospital experience preferred; Epic EMR experience within the past 2 yearsBenefits and Support- 24/7 recruiter and travel support- Dedicated support throughout the assignment- Bi-weekly orientation sessions on Mondays- Mileage-based pay rates tiered by travel distanceFind more opportunitiesIf you’d like to explore other openings, apply at https://healthforce.applytojob.com/applyPlease note: Pay rates and guaranteed hours are estimates and may vary.
