Travel Speech Language Pathologist

Job Overview

We are seeking a Speech Language Pathologist (SLP) for a contract assignment. The SLP will evaluate, diagnose, and treat communication, cognitive, and swallowing disorders while collaborating with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate speech, language, cognitive, and swallowing disorders• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans• Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment goals as needed• Educate patients, families, and caregivers• Maintain accurate clinical documentation• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and nursing staff• Participate in discharge planning and care coordination• Follow facility policies and professional standards of practice

Assignment Details

Start Date: 06/15/2026 End Date: 09/14/2026

• Shift: Day Shift• Shift Time: 08:00 AM 04:30 PM• Contract Length: 14 Weeks• Guaranteed Hours: 35 per week

Requirements

• Active Speech Language Pathologist license• Master's Degree in Speech Language Pathology• Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred• Current BLS certification preferred• Experience in skilled nursing or rehabilitation settings preferred• Strong communication and documentation skills• Valid state/federal photo ID required onsite at all times• Compliance with onboarding and health requirements
