Concrete Superintendent Company:Leading Construction Services Company Location: Charlotte, NC & Western North Carolina (Heavy Travel Required) Our client, a fast-growing construction services company specializing in Concrete, Masonry, and Landscaping for the Residential and Multi?Family Home Construction market. Position: Concrete Superintendent (Multi-Family Division) We are seeking an experienced Concrete Superintendent to join their Multi-Family Division. This role serves as a critical liaison between project managers, subcontractors, field crews, and customers. The ideal candidate is highly organized, solutions-oriented, and able to lead multiple projects in a fast-paced construction environment. Key Responsibilities Uphold and promote the company’s mission, values, and goals Collaborate daily with the Multi-Family General Superintendent and Division Manager on project schedules Perform jobsite inspections to ensure quality, scope accuracy, and adherence to company standards Communicate effectively with customers, subcontractors, and vendors Manage and organize shop materials, equipment, and inventory Perform hands-on repairs and miscellaneous work when required Develop project plans and maintain accurate project documentation Read and interpret blueprints; understand reinforced concrete formwork and concrete finishing Order concrete and related construction materials as needed Work collaboratively with field personnel and project managers to achieve project goals Ensure compliance with safety protocols, budgets, and scheduling requirements Travel to various job sites, including frequent travel for concrete pour days Required Skills Strong self-motivation and initiative Excellent verbal communication skills Strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to learn quickly and apply new skills Basic computer proficiency (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook) Solid math skills Ability to multitask and adapt to changing jobsite conditions Willingness to work in a high-stress, fast-paced environment Position Requirements Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record Prior construction experience required Frequent daily travel and regular overnight stays are expected High school diploma or equivalent Ability to operate a skid steer or excavator is a plus Strong work ethic and high energy Comprehensive knowledge of concrete construction practices and principles Effective leadership skills with the ability to drive results OSHA 30 Certification with First Aid and CPR Compensation & Benefits We offer a competitive compensation package that includes: Healthcare benefits Paid vacation Paid holidays 401(k) plan with employer match Performance incentives Work Locations This position requires extensive travel.
