Job Description

A well-established mechanical contractor is hiring a Traveling Project Manager to lead mechanical construction projects at jobsites across the country. You'll be onsite for the life of each project, working with the general contractor, field crews and owners to deliver HVAC and piping work safely, on schedule and to quality standards.What you'll need:- 1 to 3+ years as a Project Manager in mechanical construction (required)- A bachelor's degree in Construction Management or Mechanical Engineering, or proven working experience in construction management (required)- Knowledge of HVAC and piping systems, building products, construction details and design, and the relevant rules, regulations and quality standards (preferred)- Familiarity with construction management software and strong computer skills (preferred)- Proficiency in P6 or Microsoft Project- Self-motivation, with excellent time and project management skills- A strong personal commitment to long-term, meaningful goals- The ability to meet deadlines and multitask as priorities change- Confidence in your knowledge and a commitment to researching answers to find the right solutionSchedule and travel:- 6 days a week, 10-hour shifts- Onsite at the jobsite for the duration of the project- Travel home every 3 to 4 weeks for 2 to 3 daysInterested?
