Job Description
- Lead all on-site construction activities for healthcare projects from preconstruction through final turnover
- Manage subcontractors, vendors, suppliers, and field personnel to ensure successful project execution
- Develop and maintain short-term schedules and look-ahead plans
- Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to quality standards
- Coordinate work in active and occupied healthcare environments while minimizing disruptions to operations
- Conduct daily site walks, safety meetings, and subcontractor coordination meetings
- Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements, healthcare construction regulations, and project-specific safety protocols
- Review construction drawings, specifications, and project documents for field execution
- Coordinate inspections, testing, infection control measures, and regulatory requirements
- Identify and resolve field issues that impact project schedules, quality, or safety
- Maintain daily reports, project documentation, and progress updates
- Partner closely with Project Managers, healthcare stakeholders, and design teams throughout the project lifecycle
- Lead punch list, commissioning, and closeout activities

High level of autonomy, ownership, and field leadership responsibilityStable organization with long-term growth opportunities- 5=3+ years of Superintendent experience in commercial construction
- Proven experience leading healthcare construction projects
- Experience working in occupied and operational healthcare facilities strongly preferred
- Knowledge of ICRA protocols, healthcare compliance requirements, and infection control measures preferred
- Willingness and ability to travel throughout the Southeast
- Experience managing multiple subcontractors and complex project logistics
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
