Job Description

SuperintendentMy $80M client is a design-build General Contractor in the St. Louis area. This office has big growth plans for 2026 and is now looking for an experienced Superintendent to support large upcoming projects. They specialize in diverse projects across the light industrial, manufacturing, multifamily, commercial, retail, and healthcare sectors. Candidate must be open to travel to the job sites full time.Job DescriptionCoordinate field teams, consultants, and suppliers in the correct sequence so work progresses without delays.Create site-specific safety strategies along with emergency response procedures tailored to each project.Arrange and oversee inspections required by local authorities throughout the build.Develop, update, and manage the master project timeline and short-term planning schedules.Record daily site activities in a detailed written log to document project progress.Identify and resolve punch list items to close out the project successfully.Conduct early-stage planning, including job site logistics and identifying gaps or overlaps in scopes of work.Keep the project team informed on clarifications, design changes, and material approval processes.MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law. Strong knowledge of construction means and methods, market conditions, and subcontractor trades

Proficiency in software and construction tools

Excellent written and verbal communication and presentation skills

Highly organized with strong analytical and decision-making abilities

Ability to travel
