SuperintendentOur client is an established commercial construction company headquartered in Southern New Hampshire with nearly two decades of success delivering complex renovations, historic restorations, design-build projects, mechanical upgrades, and facilities maintenance work. With a reputation for excellence, attention to detail, and collaborative project execution, the company has built a strong presence across New Hampshire, Maine, and Vermont while maintaining a close-knit culture where teamwork and employee contributions are highly valued. Due to continued growth and project demands, they are seeking a Superintendent to take over leadership of an active federal historic restoration project and support future expansion plans across the region.Job DescriptionLead all day-to-day field operations on a federal historic restoration project
Coordinate subcontractors, vendors, and site personnel to ensure project success
Maintain project schedules, quality standards, and safety compliance
Conduct site meetings and communicate progress with project stakeholders
Oversee project documentation, daily reports, and field logistics
Ensure work is completed in accordance with contract documents and specifications
Identify and resolve field issues proactively to minimize project delays

Experience managing renovation, restoration, municipal, federal, or commercial projects
Strong understanding of construction means and methods, scheduling, and safety practices
Proven ability to lead subcontractors and coordinate multiple trades
Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
Experience with historic restoration projects is a plus
Ability to work independently and make sound decisions in the field
Willingness to travel and temporarily reside near project locations when required
Current Project The successful candidate will initially lead the complete renovation and historic restoration of a border crossing station in Derby, Vermont. The project is expected to continue through early 2027 and offers housing assistance and per diem support for candidates residing outside the immediate area.What's on OfferBase salary up to $120,000, depending on experience
