Triage Therapist, Full Time Salaried/Exempt position

Families and Youth Innovation Plus (FYI+) is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Triage Therapist to join our team. This role will conduct intake assessments and assist clients with urgent needs. For those who love variety, using their diagnostic skills, and providing needed access to the community, this is a great opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing therapy services to children, adolescents, adult individuals, couples, and/or families. We are expanding services to all age groups and welcome people with diverse expertise. The ideal candidate will also have a deep-rooted understanding of treating participants from a trauma-responsive lens.
We are seeking a licensed therapist to join our team Full time (40 Hours weekly) or Part time (24 hours weekly). This position will have flexible schedule options and opportunities to work 10 hour days, evenings, and/or Saturdays. Compensation is based on hours worked, including both direct client care and administrative time.
FYI+ is a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) Grant Site. Our agency's therapists work with case managers and other support providers to meet participants' basic needs as well as offering therapy, crisis services, and other supportive services.
What You'll Do:
- Conduct triage assessments to determine level of care needed for individuals seeking services
- Provide crisis intervention and short-term therapeutic support
- Implement patient interventions based on assessment, patient input and in conjunction with the treatment plan team
- Provide therapy sessions to clients using evidence-based practices
- Maintain written accurate and up-to-date clinical records on individual services and prepare written reports
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, team members, and other staff and service providers regarding client care
What You Need:
- Masters degree in counseling, social work, psychology, or related field
- Current New Mexico State Licensure (LMFT, LCSW, LPC, or equivalent)
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and writing skills
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work 24 or 40 hours, including evenings and/or Saturdays
- Enthusiasm for working within a CCBHC model and contributing to community-based care
Compensation & Benefits
- Annual rate for full time starting at $55,000/year (including both clinical and administrative time) commiserate to Licensure level, years of experience, and certifications
