Job Description
Job Title: TrimmerLocation: Hastings, NE Pay: $19.00 $21.75/hour (based on experience)Shift: 1st Shift (Monday Thursday, 5: 00 AM 3: 30 PM)Overtime: As needed (Fridays 5: 00 AM 1: 00 PM)Position OverviewWe are hiring a Trimmer to join our client's production team. In this role, you will operate trimming equipment and perform hand-finishing tasks to ensure die cast parts meet quality standards and specifications. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start a career in manufacturing no prior experience required!Key Responsibilities
- Operate hydraulic trim presses to remove excess material (flash) from die castings
- Perform hand finishing using various tools
- Visually inspect parts to ensure quality and conformance to print specifications
- Identify and report non-conforming parts
- Sort and package parts according to instructions
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with housekeeping schedules
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines
- No previous experience or post-secondary education required
- On-the-job training provided including:
- Reading blueprints/prints
- Identifying non-conformance issues
- Operating equipment such as deburring tools, drill press, band saw, sanders and trim presses
- Ability to work in a hot manufacturing environment
