We are looking to expand our team with a skilled and dedicated Truck Bed Installation Technician.
Job Description:We are seeking a qualified and experienced Truck Bed Installation Technician to join our team. This position requires the installation of truck beds, flatbeds, and various other commercial-grade beds to commercial trucks. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in light fabrication and welding, as well as experience working with commercial vehicles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Install truck beds, flatbeds, and commercial-grade beds on various truck models.
- Perform light fabrication tasks and welding as needed for custom bed installations.
- Ensure all installations are completed to industry standards and customer specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that may arise during installations.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company safety guidelines.
- Work closely with other team members to complete projects on time.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in truck bed installation, welding, and light fabrication.
- Strong knowledge of truck bed types and commercial vehicle systems.
- Proficiency with hand and power tools, welding equipment, and other shop machinery.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to lift heavy materials and work in a physically demanding environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with custom modifications and building truck beds from scratch.
- Prior experience working with commercial vehicles and/or truck body installations.
