The Truck Driver is responsible for ensuring that deliveries and pickups are completed timely and safely. The incumbent may also assist with and be responsible for packaging customer orders to meet delivery deadlines.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver and pickup from suppliers and offsite warehouse
  • Package inventory according to requirements
  • Perform correct picks and inventory transfers in Oracle to support customer deliveries and maintain inventory accuracy
  • Cycle count experience in manufacturing/warehouse environment
  • Correctly complete discrete jobs to deliver manufactured accessories to customer(s) or stock
  • Cross functional responsibilities to include receiving/inventory control and/or shipping to support the Warehouse/Logistics needs
  • Supports and adheres to the safety and environmental policies of AFL
  • Operate commercial vehicles safely while following DOT, and company regulations.
  • Assist with loading/unloading when required.
  • Follow PPE requirements at all facilities.

  • Detail oriented - ability to keep detailed and accurate records.

Qualifications

  • MS office software
  • Oracle Software experience preferred
  • Fork lift certification
  • CDL License

Working Conditions

  • Manufacturing warehouse environment.

Minimum Education

  • High School/GED or 1+ years of equivalent experience

Required Certifications & Licenses

  • CDL License, Forklift Certified
