Truck Driver / Equipment Operator

Description:

• Will drive equipment to sites and assist in loading/unloading
• Will operate a variety of forklifts and heavy machinery
• Willing to learn and efficiently operate hydraulic gantry, hydraulic jacks, and various machinery moving equipment.
• Controls movements of heavy equipment through narrow openings or confined spaces.
• Able to load and unload forklifts and other equipment from lowboy, dovetail, and or Landoll trailers.
• Must be able to perform equipment inspections and general preventative maintenance as needed.
• Interpret load charts for equipment to ensure the equipment is being used within operating capacities.
• Able to follow and understand signals or verbal directions from workers engaged in moving loads to ensure safety of workers and materials.
• Must be willing to assist in other rigging, jacking, skating, lifting, etc. activities as needed above and beyond operating equipment.
• Must pass drug test, fit for duty test and background check
• Must have a Class A CDL.
• Must have OSHA 10
• Willing to travel and work overtime as necessary.

License:

• CDL – CLASS A
• NCCCO – Preferred not required
