Gas Field Specialists, Inc. is seeking a Truck Drivers to perform a variety of routine and complex transportation work in driving and coordinating transportation plans in support of Gas Field Specialists, Inc.
Specific Educational/Vocational Requirements:
Responsibilities:
• Operate trucks for the delivery, pickup and relocation of products and materials, including the use of a winch as needed.
• Perform required before-, during-, and after-operation “user maintenance” and provide required logs/reports.
• Perform routine inspection and preventive maintenance on assigned equipment and refer defects or repairs to supervisor; clean equipment.• Perform all duties in conformance to appropriate safety and security standards. • May plan route to insure most economical use of time and equipment.• Maintain all required certifications required by DOT and OSHA and company safety programs.• Provide outstanding customer service during delivery and pickup operations.• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.
Job Skills:• Thorough knowledge of traffic laws and defensive driving.• Skill in operation of listed tools and equipment.• Ability to safely drive various vehicles.• Ability to establish and maintain effective relationships with employees, supervisors and the general public.• Ability to communicate effectively.• Ability to work independently.• Ability to drive in all weather conditions.• Ability to work nights and weekends.• Ability to perform heavy manual tasks under varying weather conditions.• Ability to make independent judgments which have moderate impacts on the organization.
