The Storeroom Truck Driver is responsible for the safe transport of materials between locations and for supporting warehouse and storeroom operations. This role includes loading/unloading, inventory support, equipment operation, and maintaining compliance with DOT regulations and company safety standards. It’s a dynamic position ideal for someone who enjoys variety in their day and takes ownership of both driving and material handling tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate company trucks to transport materials between facilities and supplier locations
  • Load and unload trucks, ensuring materials are handled properly and delivered accurately
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections, including checking fluid levels, lighting, and overall vehicle safety
  • Maintain a clean and organized truck, loading areas, and workspaces
  • Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move, store, and stage materials
  • Receive, stock, pick, and issue materials within the storeroom and warehouse
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on vehicles and mobile equipment (fueling, lubrication, battery charging, etc.)
  • Assist with inventory management, cycle counts, and accurate recordkeeping using SAP or similar systems
  • Follow all DOT, OSHA, and company safety regulations, including participation in required drug testing programs
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members, including reporting any driving infractions or equipment issues
  • Work overtime as required/needed

Job Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license
  • Must maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) - Copies of MVR will be required within 10 days of contingent job offer
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English
  • Must be able to reference, read, and understand MSDS information
  • Ability to maintain a satisfactory motor vehicle record (MVR) and pass DOT physical requirements
  • Experience operating forklifts or willingness to obtain certification
  • Basic computer skills and ability to learn SAP or other inventory/maintenance systems

Compensation Range:

$26.75 - $26.75 /hr
