Your day as a Truck Jockey

As a Full-Time Truck Jockey at Upper Lakes Foods, you'll take on a dynamic and essential role that ensures our operations run smoothly and safely. Your primary responsibilities will include adeptly operating trucks and securely hitching and unhitching trailers with precision on our property. You'll be the go-to person for managing key equipment within the tractor and trailer, monitoring vital systems, and performing DOT pre-trip inspections to guarantee everything meets regulatory standards. Keeping our vehicles in tip-top shape is crucial, so you'll regularly check fluid levels and maintain detailed logs.

You'll also uphold our commitment to cleanliness and food safety by routinely sweeping and sanitizing trailers. Collaborating closely with the transportation supervisor and on-site technicians, you'll report any equipment issues, while fostering effective relationships within the department and community. With a focus on integrity, safety, and professional growth, this position offers an exciting opportunity to thrive in a high-performance environment.

Requirements for this Truck Jockey job

To thrive as a Full-Time Truck Jockey at Upper Lakes Foods, a unique blend of skills is essential for success.
